About Us

At Old-School Fitness we have designed an exercise studio dedicated to giving all our clients a great personal training experience. Our collection of services is designed to give every client the opportunity to get that lean, toned body they have always wanted. We combine personal one-on-one training with nutrition coaching to help you get the results that you deserve.

We know that it takes dedication and passion to break free of old habits and that is why at our studio we believe in our slogan of “Train With Us Train With Purpose.” Our overall focus is always on your health and well-being. There is no wasted movement in our studio. We keep our fitness programs simple, efficient, and effective to make sure that you see results in as little as a few weeks.

Our training sessions target your whole body so that you are always getting the most out of every workout. Best of all, since everyday all of our sessions are by appointment, there are never any crowds to contend with at our studio. When you walk through our doors, all you will see are other like-minded individuals just like yourself working hard to achieve their goals!

Like our name suggests, we use old-school tools to give you a complete workout guaranteed to get results. At our studio, you will use kettlebells, rowing machines, and body-weight exercises all used in your training sessions that incorporate whole body movements. Using our methods and guidance, you are sure to see a marked difference in your strength, mobility, and endurance.

I create fitness programs that meet my client’s goals and needs so they progress and succeed in ways they never thought possible.

I earned my BS degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the UNC Greensboro. I am an AFFA Personal Trainer, a Russian Kettlebell Certified (RKC) Instructor and World Kettlebell Club Trainer. I’ve trained extensively in the Cary/Raleigh area for the past 25 years at Old-School Fitness, LifeTime Fitness, Prestonwood Country Club, the Cary YMCA and Rex Wellness Center.

I look forward to providing you with a unique fitness program you will love doing and be able to maintain for a lifetime.

I’m passionate about helping people achieve the highest quality of life through fitness recognizing that everyone is different with different goals and abilities.

Since 2003 I’ve pushed my clients past what they thought were their physical limits. They have achieved goals they didn’t think possible using intense programs rich in variety, challenging their minds, muscles and cardiovascular systems. Training at high-volume health clubs in the area has provided me with experience training people with varying goals, abilities and fitness levels.

I have certifications from the World Kettlebell Club and Kettlebell Concepts. As a kettlebell sport trainer, I enjoy training people who accept the challenge of this demanding sport.

As a boxing enthusiast, I include aspects of the sport into my training sessions, including focus mitt and heavy bag work.
