Great Long Term Results

I started training with Sharon because I was overweight, needed to get in shape, and wanted to feel better about myself. Also, I am a teacher and realized I had no energy to keep up with the kids. At only 29, I knew I had to do something to change that. Luckily, I found Old-School Fitness and couldn’t have made a better choice than to sign up for the introductory sessions.

I had tried working out on my own several times before and knew I needed someone to hold me accountable. I had tried other trainers at big gyms and studios, but they only supplied short term results. At Old-School Fitness, I’ve learned how to set achievable nutrition and fitness goals so that the changes are sustainable and results are long-term.

The studio is a comfortable place to exercise since there is never more than one other person training at the same time as me. The workouts are always tailored to help me reach my specific goals. I don’t get bored because the workouts are never the same, and I really enjoy using kettlebells instead of machines. Sharon knows what I am capable of and always motivates and encourages me to finish the sets with great technique.

In the past year, I have seen so many changes in myself! I’ve lost 25lbs., gone down from a size 16 to a size 10, and completely stopped a medication related to insulin resistance. My family and I have also seen my self-confidence and mood improve dramatically. The fitness program that Sharon has put together for me has progressed so much that I look back at my first month and really can’t believe how far I’ve come.

I highly recommend Old-School Fitness! If you are willing to put in the effort, this is the place for you. Rick and Sharon are both fantastic and will put together a program designed just for you to help you reach your goals.
