Workout Benefit - Energy

I have trained with Sharon and Rick now for 8 years. I decided to go the personal training route because I was tired of paying for a gym membership that I didn’t use, and I was feeling unfit and a bit overweight. 8 years ago it was hard for me to motivate myself to exercise on my own or stay with any program. I chose Old-School Fitness because of Rick and Sharon and their expertise and knowledge.

I train 2-3 days per week, preferably 3 days when I can. I like the personal attention and incredible knowledge that they offer and their very clean and private studio. Over the years I have completely lost the 15 pounds that had always nagged at me. So not only have I gone down from a size 12 to a size 8, and kept the weight off, but my biggest personal gain, is that I am the strongest I have ever been in my life.

I have so much energy, strength, flexibility and mobility. Golfing is my passion; flexibility, mobility and core strength are important to my game. The best benefit of all though is the energy I get from the workouts. Working with Old-School Fitness has made me a happier and calmer person. My workouts are never boring! My family and friends continually compliment me on my appearance and my strength.

When I travel, I can continue my workouts on the road because I don’t need to rely on a gym or training machines. Over the years Sharon and Rick have taught me to exercise properly in cardio and strength training. They have become not only good friends over the years, but I can honestly say they have taught me how to take the best care of myself ever.
